The Elven Padawan #3: “Zero Hour” review, part 2

Shay and her guest Evie finish up their review of the Star Wars: Rebels season 3 finale, “Zero Hour”.
First though, there’s some Star Wars news to cover, and Shay reads some comments from listeners.
Then we get into the rest of that review. We continue our obsessions over Grand Admiral Thrawn and Captain Syndulla, talk about Kallus joining the Rebellion, and who will die before it’s all over.

  1. Shay, this was entertaining even though I don’t watch Rebels!
I love that you brought your friend in to do a review, I led like to see more of that, maybe with your sister?
    Anyways, I loved it.

    1. I’m so glad you liked it!! πŸ™‚

I do really want to do more things like this, though it’s proven to be way harder than I expected to find people to come on as guests. I’m also looking to possibly have some guests from other podcasts and such on, as well as come on others’ shows whenever the opportunity arises. Hopefully I’ll be able to hook in some social medias with this site and my podcast and get the name out there and open that door a little wider. πŸ˜€

  2. Lol, I would love to guest on your podcast….you would think more people would want to do it! But, then, for me, it’s a matter of distance. Otherwise, if you needed someone, I’m sure all of us on the OAC would be happy to help.Yeah! I would say that Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram are great ways to start, those are the most used by fangirls I think:)

    1. Ikr! Most people do it through Skype, so distance isn’t really huge issue with me. And I’ve asked one of our friend on the OAC before, but she said she didn’t have Skype, so that’s a bit of a problem…
That’s what I’ve noticed as well. I asked someone who runs another SW podcast what the best route was, and that’s the answer he gave as well.

  3. Shay, I loved this! Plus, was that friend you mentioned who freaked out when Hera called Kanan “love” again me? ;P As a side note, I don’t have Skype either, but I could definitely guest post at some point if you wanted someone to rant about ships. (As in romantic, not Corellians). I would totally love that, and I love your blog/podcasts. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks so much, I’m glad you liked it!! And yes, I was referring to you there. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€
That would be great! I’ll definitely call on you for that sometime, it really helps to have people do guestposts for me. πŸ™‚ I was going to tell you anyway that if you wanted to send in any of the fanfiction you’ve done, I’d love to post it up on here! And if you ever get Skype or some other way to “call in” as a guest on the podcast in the future, I’ll always want to get you on there too!! πŸ™‚

      1. I never even thought about my fanfics! I have a few parts of a RebelCaptain (Jyn and Cassian) one finished and editing right now. I’m planning out a Kanera one, and if anybody else wants to request a ship storyline, I can write it. (I don’t do any lgbt ships or Reylo, though)

        1. That sounds cool! If you would be interested in it, you could send me your RebelCaptain one when you’re ready, and I’ll publish it on here. Just a thought, and if you don’t want to, it won’t hurt my feelings or anything! πŸ™‚

          1. So, would I have to email it to you? Because my email doesn’t work, I just use it to sign up for things. Plus, I don’t have WiFi where I’m living right now. Sorry if this makes it harder. 😰

            1. You would probably have to email it…unless you could copy and paste it into the “contact” box on my site, which would probably work just as well, come to think of it. I totally know how this stuff goes, so please don’t feel bad about it being complicated. πŸ™‚

  4. Shay… I have an idea for someone who might be willing to guest on your podcast!! I happen to have met and hit it off with a member of the 501st Legion. I won’t be offended if you don’t want to, but he would probably be willing to do a Skype interview with you! I know you’ve been looking for more guests…

  5. Ok, so this kind of stinks. I didn’t get a chance to talk to him before they left on Sunday… They only (because in AK, two hours isn’t that much) live two hours away in Anchorage, so the next time they visit I’ll ask him, ok? Sorry…😐
