We’ve had quite a bit of news on this last season tricking out lately, starting with the new trailer release at Fan Expo Canada. Now we have the official episode descriptions for most of the first half of season 4, and when added to what we know from the recent descriptions that came up on zap2it recently (you can find my report on those here), we can get a fairly good idea of what the first half of this season will hold.

What do you think about all these new announcements concerning Rebels? Are you as excited for the new season as I am? Let me know in the comments!

I was afraid that weapon was the one she designed. 😦 It is pretty awful so while I don’t think people can blame her for it, I can see why they’d hate her a little. Now the only other one from this half we don’t have a description for is Rebel Assault.

Yeah, I agree… I’ve really liked how Rebels has shown all its characters as fallen people, not perfect humans who are just inherently good and always pick the right thing without ever a stumble. Real life is so much more complicated than that, and I’m glad this show acknowledges that fact. At the same time, though, all the “heroes” are still good guys who genuinely want to do the right things, and do try to make the right choices when they’re faced with them. That’s a really hard balance to strike sometimes, and I think this show has done an excellent job of it.
Yes, I’m super interested about what that one’s going to be about, especially since it’s the mid-season finale! More than a little interested about why they haven’t given us something on it yet… 😮

I agree with both of you; it definitely makes sense that it could be the X-Wings one, and if so, that would be awesome!! However, these mid-season finales often end off on terrible cliff hangers, so I can only imagine how it will go down if we’re right… 😮
